For thousands of years, Ayurveda has been used to treat several illnesses & injuries. In ancient times, it was considered one of the best ways to treat diseases and lead a healthy lifestyle.
In the last few years, these traditional ayurvedic approaches have blended well with our modern lifestyle and have created awareness among today's generation. People nowadays are inclined to improve their health-oriented habits with ancient wisdom and are trying to lead a healthy life.
AYUSH is an abbreviation for Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. This concert encourages the patients to get treated with the combination of conventional and modern restorative practices.
With the growing demand for ayurvedic treatments, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) made this mandatory for every Health Insurance provider to offer AYUSH treatment as a part of their coverage as well.
Owing to the increasing demand and potentiality for Ayurvedic treatments, it is necessary to check with your health insurer if the AYUSH treatments are covered under the chosen best health Insurance plan and sub-limits for the same.
